Very interesting. I have bought a copy and have a ticket for an event in Edinburgh to listen to the writer talk about the book. Prof. Malinowski’s grandmother lived through some extraordinary times in Germany.

The history of Germany as Germany is so short and so fragmented that understanding of the Weimar years is fascinating. There are so many dots to join it seems to me that simply becoming aware of some more dots help create a little more clarity.

Great interview thanks Katja and Stephan Malinowski.

I know exactly what you mean. I love it when those little dots slot into place and add yet another tiny fragment to the bigger picture.

I wasn't sure there would be enough on this subject to engage me for fifty minutes or so but yet again found it totally fascinating. My patience was far from exhausted and I could easily have absorbed another hour. Thanks to you both.
